Rules & Guidelines
- The Law Colleges/Universities recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate. The bonafide students pursuing LL.B. Three Year/Five Year Degree programmes in aforesaid institutions during the current academic year and officially deputed by such institutions, are eligible to participate.
- The teams are permitted to participate in the competition on first come- first serve basis. Detailed rules and regulations for each event are mentioned along with the respective events. Compliance to the rules is mandatory, non compliance of which may result in disqualification of the whole team. Clarifications regarding the rules and regulations may be sought from the organizers by e-mail (snilevent@gmail.com)/ Phone wherever necessary.
- Common doubts or ambiguities in the rules, if any, will be clarified in the form of corrigenda, which will be sent to all teams by e-mail. The decision of the Grievance Committee shall be final on any matter including circumstances not envisaged in the rules and regulations of the competition.
- For Moot Court competition, shortfall in the number of teams due to withdrawal of any team or otherwise shall be filled in by introducing a team (or teams) from the host college; such a team will not be eligible for any prize.
- Awards, prizes, and certificates shall be distributed at the Valedictory function only on 7th October 2013 and the same shall not be given/sent to any person thereafter under any circumstance. Therefore, teams should ensure their presence at Valedictory function.

- The proceedings of all the competitions shall be in English. Participants should conduct themselves during the entire proceedings befitting to the students of the institute. The institute, in its discretion may refrain itself from the conduct of any event and reserves the right to cancel/drop any event, for want of minimum participation.
REGISTRATION & REPORTING
- The participating teams should register for the event on or before 27th September 2013 through email/ phone. The registration fee shall be ` 300/- per student of each participating teams.
REGISTRATION
- Teams/Participants are required to submit the Registration Form signed by the head of the Institution, along with the required registration fees.
- Demand Draft is to be drawn in favour of “THE LAW SCHOOL MEET, SNIL” and payable at Bhubaneswar.
- This has to reach the organizers by the 27th SEPTEMBER 2013.
- Registered teams are required to confirm their arrival and verify their registration over Phone /email (snilevent@gmail) before their arrival.
- The participating team may take the printout of the registration form (Annexure-II) available in our website: www.snil.ac.in and the same may be filled up and sent to the host institute.
REPORTING
- All the registered teams shall report positively on 4th OCTOBER 2013.
- All the participants shall carry their College/University Identity Cards at the time of registration as well as at all times thereafter, while in the campus. Participants are advised to carry photocopies of all duly filled forms that have been submitted to the organizers.
- All the participants are required to come formally dressed for the Inaugural function.
- All the participants will receive their identity cards along with other registration items (Including Food Coupons) at the time of registration.
- Organizers shall not be responsible for the loss of such items.
- The participants will be briefed with the rules and regulations, under which the events will be conducted in an orientation programme.
VENUE
- The Venue of the event is at
SOA National Institute of Law (SNIL),
Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University (Near SUM HOSPITAL),
Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
- This is about 8 km from Airport and 12 km from Bhubaneswar Railway Station.
TRANSPORTATION
- No separate transport facilities will be provided by the host institute.
- The participants shall have to make their own arrangement to reach the destination.
FOOD AND ACCOMODATION
- The Host Institute will provide Food and Accommodation from 4th OCTOBER 2013 night to 7th OCTOBER 2013 night.
